About the Role
We are seeking a professional, well-presented, and articulate Reception & Bookings Administrator for our prestigious five-star establishment. This role requires an individual who can deliver exceptional customer service, handle diverse administrative tasks, and coordinate bookings seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Warmly welcome and direct members and guests, offering assistance throughout their visit.
- Telephone & Switchboard: Manage all incoming calls, handle queries where possible, or transfer to relevant departments.
- Bookings & Reservations: Oversee restaurant, golf, and event reservations, ensuring accurate records and confirmations.
- Cash Handling & Payments: Assist with top-up and pre-paid bookings, conduct daily cash-ups, and follow correct financial procedures.
- Administrative Support:
- Receive deliveries and distribute them appropriately.
- Maintain lost property and assist members with general club information.
- Help with general office tasks (printing, scanning, ordering supplies).
- Provide first aid assistance and maintain the reception’s first aid box.
- Event Coordination Support: Liaise with the Events Manager for club events, corporate functions, and communicate necessary details to relevant departments.
Experience & Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a customer service or hospitality-focused role.
- Flexibility to work long hours, including weekends.
- Familiarity with standard administrative processes and basic office software.
- Strong phone etiquette and exceptional interpersonal skills.
