The Hermanus Golf Club, a premium 27-hole golf facility, is situated in the scenic coastal and tourist town of Hermanus.
An exciting opportunity has become available at Hermanus Golf Club for the appointment of a Golf Operations Manager, who will be responsible for all golf-related activities at the Club.
This position requires the incumbent to have excellent communication, attention to detail and people skills. Effective and efficient management duties such as planning, organizing, leading and controlling are essential.
This is a senior position, reporting to the General Manager, and requires previous experience in a similar environment, including a command of the game of golf and rules. Computer literacy is essential. PGA qualification preferable.
The Golf Operations Manager’s duties shall be those normally associated with the position, which shall include, but are not limited to, planning, promoting and directing of all golf and related activities, administration of course setup, liaison with the General Manager and Course Superintendent, management of the Club’s cart fleet, driving range, golf operations staff, caddies and junior golf development.
