MIDDELBURG COUNTRY CLUB are currently seeking a dynamic, ambitious, and results-driven General Manager to lead the Club. The General Manager will play a critical role in maintaining and improving club facilities, managing day-to-day operations, and implementing strategies for growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of golf and experience in leading hospitality or membership-based organizations.
Role Overview:
They will be responsible for the general management of the country club as a profitable business entity outlined below but not limited to this, they will report to the central committee.
Role includes management in the following areas:
- Finances
- Human Resources
- Health and Safety
- Management of the Golf, Tennis, Squash, Bowls and Padel sections
- Uplift of the Golf Course and grounds maintenance
- Management of outsourced operations i.e. The Pro Shop
- Lodge, Bar and Restaurant
- Marketing
- Customer Relations
- Procurement
- Business Information and Communication
- Attending and providing info at monthly Management meetings
