BACKGROUND
Dainfern Country Club (“DCC”), a division of the Dainfern Homeowners Association NPC
(“DHA”), manages the estate’s affairs on behalf of its members. Dainfern is a premier lifestyle
estate featuring a Gary Player signature-designed golf course, ranked among South Africa’s top
60 courses.
The current agreement to operate the Pro Shop is coming to an end. The DHA is inviting
proposals for a new operator to manage the Club’s Pro Shop and provide rental carts.
Regular member competitions include:
• Saturday: Club Competition (Men & Ladies)
• Tuesday: Ladies Competition
• Wednesday: Men’s and Ladies Competitions
• Sunday: Mixed Competition
Major annual competitions include the Club Champs, Dainfern Jacket, Masters, and Lion Cup.
Dainfern also hosts Sunshine Tour and other events.
PURPOSE OF THIS RFP
The purpose of this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is to solicit responses from interested parties
(“Bidders”) to provide Golf Pro Shop Services (“GPS”) at Dainfern Estate.
This document outlines the tasks and responsibilities expected from the successful Bidder.
This RFP does not constitute an offer but serves as an invitation to participate in an
requirements-based procurement process.
