For any club manager, food waste is expensive and, increasingly, a challenge to manage. Our landfills are nearing closure while the Cities of Cape Town and Johannesburg are putting in place regulations aimed at reducing organic waste to landfill by 50% by 2022!
CMASA members who purchase or rent an Earth Cycler will have free access to their own environmental impact dashboard. Published reports will allow a club to monitor its waste output (a food cost) as well as the positive carbon impact of its food waste composting initiative. The dashboard is valued at R800.00 per month (ex VAT).
