Job Description: Membership Coordinator
Overview: As a Membership Coordinator at the Benoni Country Club, you will play a key role in managing and growing our membership base. This position requires a blend of exceptional customer service, administrative skills, and a understanding of bookkeeping practices.
Responsibilities:
- Membership Management:
- Handle all aspects of membership inquiries, applications, renewals, and resignations.
- Maintain accurate membership records and databases. Knowledge of the Clubmaster System an added advantage.
- Ensure timely communication with members regarding club activities, events, and updates.
- Recruitment and Retention:
- Develop strategies along with the CEO to attract and retain new members.
- Coordinate membership drives and promotional activities.
- Implement initiatives to enhance member engagement and satisfaction.
- Financial Administration:
- Assist with financial transactions related to memberships, including collection and processing.
- Maintain financial records and reconcile membership accounts in conjuction with Finance Manager.
- Customer Service:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for member inquiries and concerns.
- Provide exceptional service to enhance member satisfaction and loyalty.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a membership-focused role, preferably within the golf or hospitality industry.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in basic bookkeeping principles and software (e.g. Clubmaster).
- Attention to detail and accuracy in managing membership data and records.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
