Executive Chef – Pretoria
A prestigious club in the Pretoria area is looking for an experienced Exec Chef to join their team.
Purpose:
The Executive Chef will report to The Food and Beverage Manager and manage all culinary departments of the golf course.
Some Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic planning: setting and achieving long and short term goals of the department.
- Operational Strategy: Implement and monitor all department policies.
- Management: Managing staff, accountability for your department, attending meetings with senior management and or other departments.
- Culinary: Create menu ideas, improve on existing menu, create daily specials / promotions, take client briefs.
- Control measures: Stringent inventory control, stocktaking procedures, food costings.
- Quality Management: improve and maintain quality of the department.
Skills / Qualifications:
- 5 year’s relevant experience
- Tertiary qualifications
