Position: Executive Chef

Executive Chef – Pretoria

A prestigious club in the Pretoria area is looking for an experienced Exec Chef to join their team.

Purpose:
The Executive Chef will report to The Food and Beverage Manager and manage all culinary departments of the golf course.

Some Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic planning: setting and achieving long and short term goals of the department.
  • Operational Strategy: Implement and monitor all department policies.
  • Management: Managing staff, accountability for your department, attending meetings with senior management and or other departments.
  • Culinary: Create menu ideas, improve on existing menu, create daily specials / promotions, take client briefs.
  • Control measures: Stringent inventory control, stocktaking procedures, food costings.
  • Quality Management: improve and maintain quality of the department.

Skills / Qualifications:

  • 5 year’s relevant experience
  • Tertiary qualifications
