Glendower Golf Club is currently looking to fill the role of Finance Assistant
FINANCE ASSISTANT – JOB DESCRIPTION
FINANCE
Creditor Invoices |
- Load all creditor invoices onto Jonas
|
Generate Invoices |
- Advertising, EME Bearings, etc
|
PRANA |
- Capture invoices, generate Rev Share & diesel invoice, recon account monthly
|
Creditor Recons |
- Recons to be completely monthly
- Ensure all outstanding invoices are received & captured
- Assist creditors with statements & remittances on request
|
Debit Orders |
- Load all debit orders monthly onto STD bank
- Load all debit orders onto each members account monthly
- Ensure subs are received for all members DO which have bounced
|
Payments |
- Load adhoc payments on request
- Load monthly creditor payments onto the bank
- Allocate each payment to the respective creditor on Jonas
- Transfer paid invoices to history
- Load monthly scheduled payments
- Release STD bank payments when required
|
Bank Payments Received |
- Allocate all daily PLA & STD payments received
- Ensure daily Digiwedge payments received are captured
- Update Digiwedge spreadsheet daily
|
Payroll |
- Update time sheets for Golf Ops monthly
- Ensure all leave forms are completed and sent to Jeanette for Golf Ops
- Update time sheets for Admin monthly
- Ensure all leave forms are completed and sent to Jeanette for Admin
- Ensure all casual wages are arranged (Vusi, Amanda, etc)

Vouchers |
- Load vouchers onto Jonas on request
|
Cash Ups |
- Assist daily with all cash up queries (voiding chits, ensuring there are no variances, assisting pulling reports, EOD, etc)

Petty Cash |
- Complete monthly cash up spreadsheet
- Advise FM on all weekly cash up requirements
|
GENERAL ADMINISTRATION
Golf Bookings |
- Assist visitors with golf bookings received through the website and those sent directly to Admin
- Assist with member golf booking requests and queries
|
Orders/Procurement |
Ensure monthly orders are placed with each supplier & procure any additional requirements on request:
- Monthly staff meal parcels – Golf Ops & Golf Course
- Clubhouse cleaning supplies
- Clubhouse coffee, etc
- Locker room shampoo, body wash, etc.
- Stationery

Jonas/My Club Acc |
- Log calls and assist with all Yolo/Jonas/My Club Acc issues as received from staff
|
Adhoc |
- Respond to all general emails received through the website – Restaurant bookings, accommodation requests, membership, events, etc. – Not sure who this could be directed to?
- General administrative assistance requested from staff
|
