As the CEO of the Country Club, you are ultimately responsible for performing duties as the highest-ranking executive within the Country Club to manage Country Club strategies, practices, procedures and labour relations as mandated by our Board of Directors. Your duties include the full business and operational management of the club, communicating between board members and relevant committee members and making fundamental decisions that impact the Country Club’s brand identity, financial health and risk management. You will be responsible for liaising with the relevant boards to plan and execute the overall strategic plan for the Country Club. One of your main focus areas will be the successful management of the food and beverage function including the restaurants, banqueting, and conferencing in support of high-level quality and service standards.
Food and beverage and related income equates to a comparatively significant proportion of the Club’s trading income and is therefore a key component of the operations. It is therefore vital that the CEO has a thorough understanding of and experience in managing a large food and beverage establishment. A hands-on approach to costings, pricing, service excellence, procurement and related controls will form an important part of the role
